I think Byron was supposed to be either Lyta or Talia, with Susan playing the one who wasn't sure about taking the rebellion so far. Which would at least have made sense. But yeah, Susan's "There's no one to play with any more" hits so fucking hard, and that's the note we're left on. It seems like she's spent the last twenty years being lonely and sad.
