Besides, it was nice to leave those gritty, sandy outposts every so often. Stick around too long and the Hutts started to get the impression that he worked for them, was a permanent member of their gang. Jubilar was nice, clean. Han was half-afraid to sit on the couch in their contact’s reception room, for fear of mussing the silk cushions.

He sat anyways, and helped himself to a piece of fruit from the decorative bowl on the table.

Lando shot him an annoyed look, but if anyone had a right to be annoyed in this situation it was Han. Han hadn’t been the one to drag them all the way out there. Han hadn’t spent the entire trip talking about what an easy job it would be. Han didn’t have that nervous edge Lando started to get when the cards up his sleeve were running out.

This time, at least.
