Let me start off by saying that this entire situation is my own fault. I put the 'pro' in procrastination, as my dad used to say.

I was dealing with some pretty bad depression during the middle of this term and got really behind. I missed the deadline to drop the course with no grade consequences, and my advisor basically gave me the choice between trying for another in progress grade and doing a medical withdrawal.

As I haven't been to the doctor in... too long (my pcp quit being a pcp doctor and went to solely doing inpatient work, and I have enough complicated long-term problems that getting started with a new pcp is a very daunting task, aside from the whole depression thing), I don't have any medical documentation to back up a medical withdrawal so I've been trying for the in progress.

I'm so close.

My professor for this class is the complete opposite of the one from my last class, and up until this point has graded things within 8 hours of me submitting them. The second-to-last assignment is part two of a 3 part project, and I need permission to move on to part 3.

I submitted my second-to-last assignment before noon yesterday.

It has been over 32 hours since I submitted it and it still isn't graded.

The class deadline is tomorrow at midnight.

At this point I'm almost afraid she hasn't actually seen the assignment, or it got lost in her grades portal or something.

The recommendation has always been to get everything in a week before the class deadline, so as I said above this entire situation is my own fault, but I'm still internally screaming.
