Challenge #3

Create a wish list of fandom things (podfic, graphics, playlists, canon recs translations, research help, vids, sky's the limit!) that you'd like to receive. Post your answer to today’s challenge in your own space and leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

1.) Vids (or vid recs) from fandoms involving space ships, set to sea shanties. Particularly vids focusing on the ship(s) i. It is taking all of my restraint not to turn this into a manifesto on why someone who isn't me should make a Star Trek vid to this particular cover of the song Day of the Clipper, because I'm not sure that's what this prompt is about.

2.) Sci Fi/Fantasy book recs (would also welcome nonfiction recs).

3.) Murderbot Diaries fanwork recs, particularly fanart. (I got a box set of the first four novellas for christmas and am currently obsessed. The only reason I haven't finished Exit Strategy already is because I got distracted by fic).

4.) Star Wars: The High Republic Phase I fanwork recs.

My favorite Murderbot fanworks tend to be on the odd side, like this brilliant sonnet and this fantasy AU (gen, T, 7k) and 5 settings change AUs (gen, T, 1k)

Hehe, it's an objectively great fic! :D (and "On The Trail Of The Killers Of My Father" is an awesome title :)

Looks like I never read the "My Immortal" fic, probably 'cos it wasn't in Yuletide -- I should remedy that! I did love the crossover and was considering reccing it (for justanorthernlight: I was able to enjoy it without knowing one of the fandoms at all)

Ah, I will check those out! I skipped over them during my initial browse-through because I had a burning desire for human POV on the events of All Systems Red and was kind of laser-focused on finding it, but now that I've satisfied that itch they look interesting.

I'm down for weird fic, lol! I did read the Inevitable Conclusion one (my tried and true method for reading fic when I haven't caught up with a canon is to go to the last page of Ao3 and work my way forward until I hit major spoilers), but I'm checking out the rest!

Oh, right, I should've said: the poem is spoilery for Network Effect, but I think everything else is OK once you're done with the 4 novellas.
