Challenge #6
In your own space, post the results of your fandom scavenger hunt. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
Search in your current space, whether brick-and-mortar or digital. Post a picture or description of something that is or represents:
1. A favorite character
Han Solo (the Millennium Falcon), Luke Skywalker (X-Wing, although I'll admit that I don't remember whether this X-Wing is actually Luke's, it might be Biggs Darklighter's), and the entire Rogue One crew (the U-Wing). I do wish I had a piece of merch that was more connected to Leia, but oh well.
2. Something that makes you laugh
This Halloween skull sits right next to my front door, and I try to change his hats seasonally. Since the Green Bay Packers have been eliminated from playoff contention, it's time to find him a new hat. My dad used to hide the Bigfoot in various places around our apartment, lately he's been sitting on the mantle.
3. A bookshelf
My Star Wars bookcase. These are only my have-read-all-the-way-through books, everything unfinished or quit halfway through stays on my TBR shelf elsewhere. I recent surpassed 50 comic TPBs in my collection. You can also see some of my rock spheres in there.
4. A game or hobby you enjoy
I don't knit as much as I used to (I have a lot of hand/wrist pain that I suspect is some form of arthritis), but I still like to think of myself as a knitter.
5. Something you find comforting
My full-spectrum HappyLamp. One of the best purchases I've ever made, this winter would have been so much worse without it.
6. A TV show or movie you hope more people will watch
Babylon 5. I know it's still relatively popular for a 25+ year old show, but that will not stop me from evangelizing about how great it is.
7. A piece of clothing you love
My Darn Tough wool hiking socks. Super comfy, super warm, dry quick, basically never smell, and they have super fun patterns.
8. A thing from an old fandom
Star Wars is one of my oldest fandoms, and also my always-and-forever fandom.
9. A thing from a new fandom
Error 404, new fandom not found. I tend not to buy merch until I know I'm in a fandom for the long haul, and I really haven't been that into any new fandoms lately. My new-ish hobby is cooking and small-batch baking, the top 4 cookbooks were Christmas presents that I haven't super far into yet.

Star Wars is such a great fandom for circling back to. Sometimes I'll go a couple of years without keeping up with the new content, but it's so much fun to dive back into after a break :)
